I forgot just how nice it rides until this morning when I took it out on our group ride. Oh silly me, why did I hang it up for so long. I know you like yours too.

Gangl Ti with Chorus 12 plus 1st Gen 11-speed Super Record crank because all subsequent Campagnolo cranks are unattractive. And a Record carbon post for good measure.

Davidson Impulse

Just picked this up. Thinking I will build it up in ‘87 Bicycle Guide style, more or less.

Bike fleet maintenance day. Drivetrain wipe downs and lube for everyone.

I have a Ultimate portable bike stand that I picked up with my employee discount in 1995, and on it is my 2021ish Cannondale Synapse Carbon Tiagra which I have stripped to the frameset and then installed...
  • SRAM Red eTap 11 with wired blips on the aerobar extension
  • SRAM/Quarq DZero power meter 170mm carbon crankset
  • 3T Overdrive 9-32 Cassette
  • HUNT 40 Carbon Disc Wheelset - SRAM XD/XDR
  • Continental GP5000S TR tubeless w/ Silca sealant
  • Shimano RT-MT800 140mm Rotors
  • RXL SL carbon flared 478mm drop bars
  • Planet Bike Century Gel Pads
  • Profile Design Drive Tape
  • Profile Design Legacy aerobar extension - armrest mounts ground off, drilled for internal Blip cable routing
  • Focus CPX Concept 25.4mm Carbon Seatpost, 25mm Offset
  • Selle Italia SLR Boost Pro Team Carbonio Superflow Saddle
  • Oi Bell on the aerobars
  • Trigger Bell v6 on left shifter
  • Generic carbon bottle cages
Picture is from Day 1 - which was about three weeks ago. Got it all together this past Sunday morning for a group ride, but now it's back on the stand to debug drivetrain noise and so I could and re-mount the slow-leaking tire - which I did yesterday with the Conti logo opposite the Hunt logo - but the leak is gone, so I guess I'll live with it.
