We're @ 21. We want our reflective jackets! Motorists are all jacked up on eggnog in a few weeks!

My wife called again a few days ago and was told our order was being processed. What the shop had originally told me was that most of the stuff (i.e. the warehoused items) were not in house, but coming directly from Sugoi. Nothing else to report. I am keeping my fingers crossed too.

It's now technically business day 8. I'm hoping that's why it seems so long.

We are still within that 7 to 10 day window then.

I am more impatient than the average schmo when it comes to waiting on the UPS man. Especially when Brown is bearing fun stuff. Cycling stuff.

Thumbs up

For as discounted as everything was, I can't complain much that it has taken a while to arrive.

Hah, I forgot too (drunk shopping?), not much left in my size when I saw the PSA but got some stuff for the Missus and one of those Zap vests to walk the dog in first thing in the AM. Would have been a total surprise (if it comes) if I hadn't seen this thread.

That's what should happen. Accounts should not be charged until items ship. On a credit card, though, an authorization looks like a charge. But, technically (I think), the charge doesn't go through until the items ship.

My paypal shows the money having been deducted. Maybe paypal is just holding it for me or something.

Fellow Paceliner Astrov just forwarded me this email:

Hi ____,

I apologize for the delay. The closeout items you ordered need to come from Sugoi's warehouse. They normally take 3 days. Because of the magnitude of this sale they got behind in shipping and it got so bad they pulled the sale over one week early. It was supposed to run though Black Friday. Your apparel was ordered and is in transit to us from Sugoi. I expect it by the beginning to middle of next week.

Thank you for your patience.

Hi,

Can you kindly give me a status update on this order? According to your website, it is being processed, but that's not very specific.

Thank you.

Just providing a status update.

I received my shipping confirmation today! Looks like 2-day air from USPS, NY to RI. Though, I can't remember what shipping method I selected during check-out. Maybe 2-day was the default?

I've ridden Sugoi shorts for a few years now, and they still fit and wear well. Looking forward to some new winter kit from them.

Thanks, Dead Man.

It is now early following week, and I have no confirmation from Sugoi or Sunrise.

Upshot: The longer I go without the gear, the more excuses I have to stay indoors on my trainer
