Rubbing compound for removing crap clear coat?

Is there a particularly abrasive rubbing compound that could be used for removing a yellowed and scratched clear coat?

I would wet sand with 1000 grit or finer.

I'm lazy and really didn't want to tear the bike down to wet sand...

DuPont No. 7 should help. Finish it off with Maguire's PlastiX.
