Trek 600 -f-i-x-e-d- g-e-a-r- c-o-m-m-u-t-e-r- SSCX MONSTROSITY

I recently bought this as a 1x from a fellow forumite, then moved it to fixed for use over the winter and on my commute to work.

UPDATE: now it's a stupid SSCX pit bike.

Thanks! The rear's a 32 pasela, and the front is a 28mm michelin pro4 endurance I had laying around. It has to be at least 31mm on that rim, though.

I had one of these as a commuter a while back. Loved it.

They came with 27" wheels and a lot of clearance. Going 700c gives even more.

Update: I sold my singlespeed cyclocross bike, but have been missing the peace of mind of a pit bike for cyclocross races. I didn't want to shell out for a new SSCX rig, and I had this bike laying around, not selling. It clears a 33, so I made it my new pit bike! It is not well-suited to the task but it's kind of fun to ride. The incredibly flexible tubing is like built-in suspension.
