Consistent with both my former profession and propensity to ride solo according to my own personal whims: zero. Then again, I haven't been here long.

cgolvin, Clean39T, rccardr, dave thomson, and AndySTI. All were a pleasure.

Maybe next year I can get down to MADE, but I managed to get sick this year.

Also down for riding near Seattle, and I still want to organize a weekend meetup for all the tallboys in SEA and PDX so we can ride and ogle fine bikes, or even swap between bikes. Kirk007, Lavi, PacNW2Ford, RobT57, BertoBerg, ... Next summer?

A bunch... mostly people I've met in person to sell stuff to, though off the top of my head, the only one I can think of having met in person is XXTwindad. Apologies to everyone else.

Well, let's see.
MattTuck - think he still lives around here, though he's got a young family now and I haven't seen him on his Kirk for a while.
NHAero - have known for a long time; have to chuckle at how a certain woman we know has this knack for falling for biker dudes.

And that's about it. About 15 years ago, there was a small group of PL'ers who visited the area and I hooked up for a ride with them. Included the esteemed Pete McKeon, SamIAm and his wife, and maybe Sandy (?).

Have also met my northern VT counterpart, 572cv, on at least one occasion when I sold him a fork, I think.

We're kind of spread out in this neck of the woods, I guess.

I met some guys at the World Championships in Richmond, VA. But I don't remember their names. Sorry, I'm not good with names. Or faces.

Several

Including one by chance who I do not remember. Those I remember:
  • TiDesigns, who helped me buy the NOS Colorado from That Famous Shop West of Boston
  • ElCheapo, when we were in (I think) 7th grade.

I have met many Paceliners, and former Serotta Forum members over the years, and the experience has been universally positive. Always good people with good hearts.

One of my first experiences meeting someone from the forum included an overnight. My wife asked if I was sure these internet people weren't going to kill me in my sleep. I was welcomed to a new group with open arms, and the thing that I still remember to this day: A new friend needed someone to take his bike from Point A to Point B the next day and handed me a nearly brand new Kirk with all the best parts to transport for him in my beater Jeep. I had met him for merely minutes and he trusted me with his precious cargo.

I wind up spending a lot of time on the forum, really just killing time while I'm in front of a keyboard anyway, and of course we all love the Classifieds section here; but by a very long margin, the best part of my membership here has been meeting new and old friends to ride bikes, share a meal and have fun.

This is a nice community

I agree Non-angry, but my dislike for emoji's and animated emoji's makes this community a bit less nice. Nice meeting you at Cino and a very few other east coasters and west coasters over the years. It's been a conversation I've been with for a while. Thanks for the forum! William, Pete, Kieth, many othe mods.......... memory fading....................

AngryScientist is the only one that I know of, but I wouldn't be surprised if I have ridden with others without knowing that they are members.

Thanks for the shout out, cglovin! I have only met a few PLers over the years, but sure I have met some others without realizing it.

Met OldPotatoe in 2012, or thereabouts at Vecchio's
Met onekgguy in 2022, via the Cannon Valley Velo Club in Northfield, MN!
Met cgolvin last week here in L.A.!

My family members commented how crazy of a tight-knit group we are; eager to meet and get together, and offer support to each other. I am inclined to agree. I'm not just going to go drop in on someone from Instagram (if I even did that) or FB!
