i'm interested in a ride report as i have always though that belt drive was the way to go. oh, but not for the bicycle manufactures who want to sell chains, cogs, cassettes etc.

It's the # of teeth.

Isn't 70x21 in belt drive is close to 53x16 in chaindrive IIRC.
