Ken, when I'm in San Diego, on my way to Mexico, I'll stop by and write/paint rude things on your casts.

I seems he did good work in the OR.

Glad to see you back and in a fighting spirit 😀 but give your body and yourself time too. Great to push but recovery days are just as important to getting stronger.

My conditioning to ignore the sticky's led me to completely ignore this post.

Glad to see though that you're doing much better, Ken. Here's wishing you a quick, and complete recovery.

I have passed all get-out-of-jail tests so far including up/down two flights of stairs. I see spine doctor tomorrow and hope he likes my condition enough that I may be home by the weekend. I can manage 3-4 hours a day out of bed with a little walking and some wheelchair time. No wine since 7/5 sucks. Pretty much off pain meds now with occasional Tylenol to take the edge off.

Thanks for your support. It really helps.

Much to everyone's amazement I go home tomorrow and we can burn the @#$%^&*$#@ body brace because my broken vertebrae is healing well and my spine is straight. Lots of work to do in pt but I am ecstatic to be homw with Leslie and Eric the dog. two weeks ago I needed lots of help to sit up in bed.
