It's a spectacular country, though i've never cycled there. Loads of rolling hills all over the place in the north, and tremendous spectacular climbing out of the Negev desert in the south.

Israel has consistently been in various european events, I guess because of various cultural/economic pressures. They've been in the eurovision song contest for years and years, and I suspect the EU is the biggest trading partner.

I'll be watching.

i don't get it. tour of italy? i can get starting in a bordering country where you ride INTO italy, but i dont understand these moves.

as mentioned, no one asked for my opinion, so...

hmm, i wonder if i can convince the organizers of the Tour of California to start here in NYC?
