This bike was designed as an omnium frame with sprint tendencies. It was built to compete with the top tier commercial offerings, but in a custom sized and tailored package. The Speed Metal includes a fillet brazed unicrown fork, a one piece and over sized bar and stem combination, S-bend wishbone stays, extended seat mast and stainless steel drop out faces.

The “builders choice” tube set was chosen to prioritize stiffness and responsiveness from fork tip to rear axle and is constructed with a blend of fillet brazing and a bilaminate head tube.

The House of Kolor paint and one off fade logo and down tube airbrushing are by Keith Anderson.

I originally built that for myself as a proof of concept- I wanted to see if I could build bikes I felt could compete with the big carbon track bikes that came in a handful of sizes (I think I can). I sold it to a taller rider who raced it for a bit. I believe it's being raced in FL now?

If you poke around on my web galleries you can see other bikes (road and track) that evolved from some of the ideas I was playing with there.
