Sorta OT - stopped getting daily "new thread" email for this forum

I have two forum subscriptions, one for the Classifieds forum, one for General Discussion. My User CP shows both subscriptions, but I haven't received a daily "new thread" email for this forum in two or three days. I continue to get such emails for the Classifieds forum. The mail is not going to my spam folder (Gmail, fwiw). Any suggestions for other things to check?

Hmm, this is one feature I haven't used or played around with yet. I did a quick look on the CP, and could see right away how to subscribe to a section. Could you let me know how you did this and I'll look into the problem.

Good question. It's been awhile, and the menus (through Chrome - full site, not tap-a-talk) don't seem to be working on my phone at the moment. On the main forum page, I believe the forum tools popup menu allows you to subscribe to the forum itself. When I get home I'll try to remember to check things out from my laptop.

Found it...it's under the "Forum Tools" pulldown menu. So were you getting just the updates to the threads you were watching, or all the threads?

Mail message per day with an approximation of the previous day's new topics. I still get one for the Classifieds forum/section. The General Discussion mail stopped showing up a few days ago. Hurry, Doc... I'm in serious withdrawal.

I am now on my laptop. I went ahead and unsubscribed, then subscribed again to the General Discussion. Maybe things will return to normal.

Aside... I (for some reason) wasn't logged in. I logged in, and was rewarded with an "invalid redirect" message. I backed up the forum main page, and reloaded. I am logged in. It must have only been the redirect.

The unsubscribe/subscribe dance seems to have worked. I wonder if my subscription had somehow gotten changed to "no mail". Not be conscious action on my part. At any rate, I'm back in business.

Seems unlikely, as my classifieds subscription continued to work. My money is on a stray gamma ray flipping just the right bit in core memory.
