Yeah - thanks. I hear ya. But I'd prefer to get a choice of color (blue only) and one in my size (need a medium). These things are getting scarce, I tell ya....

Update from the above post:

As mentioned, I simply cut the chiclet sized sweat pad from the center of the brow. Did a 4 hour, 90 degree ride and not a drop of sweat on the sunglasses. Mission accomplished.

Retina Sear color, the helmet experienced very rapid and uneven fade on the lower half of the shell.

I contacted Bell about two weeks ago and as of that time the Zephyr was on a production hold.
I could only find it in flat black or a bright blue, neither worked for me so i bought the Stratus. Same mips system I believe, just a tad heavier than the Zephyr. I've had Bell in the past, and fit is perfect for me.

In case you haven't heard, the Zephyr has been chitz-canned in favor of the new Bell Z20, due out next month. Looks like the same helmet to me, with perhaps some quality issues fixed e.g., as described above. More color options...

I have the sister version from Giro, the cinder. It is appropriately named as it is hotter the heck. I hope my fades too so I can return it to giro.
