Photo is from yesterday. The tunnel at the pass is closed *shake fist*. There is snow on the ground in small patches about 1/4 mile from the tunnel but there are only a few very small patches that can be ridden or walked.

Ride from Rattlesnake up to the tunnel is pretty nice. Its about 18.5 miles with a sustained 2% grade. makes for a little more work going up but makes up for it on the 2% downhill going back!

Bring a layer for up at the pass but otherwise very pleasant.

FWIW I'm running 35mm Clement Xplore MSO tires. Very doable but It probably would have been a touch more comfortable with wider tires. virtually no deep gravel.

Awesome pic, as always. Any chance you can post Strava / GPX routes for us "uninitiated" for these great gravel/trail rides (or PM your Strava so I can add/follow)?

Thanks. PM me and I will share the info. The photo was taken on Randall fire road. My route was Blithdale FR > Railroad Grade FR > Pantoll > 7 Sisters > Bolinas Ridge FR > Randall FR > HWY 1 > Bolinas-Fairfax Rd to Fairfax. 50 miles 5800ft of climbing

This is my No.22 Broken Arrow. It's a cx race bike, but does quite nicely pretty much everywhere, including sleepy rides in the local valleys and in the spring gravel races.
