For me the Voler bibs are a crapshoot depending upon the model. First pair was pretty good - nicely made for the price. Second pair is pretty bad - the chamois is like a piece of cardboard - stiff and uncomfortable - used twice - hoping they would soften and conform/contour but no luck -waste of money but was really my fault as I purchased them online - couldnt try them on - big mistake.

I think the bibs are great. I get the good black label bibs when they are on sale, and I have a couple pair that are years old and still in decent shape. I like the compression fabric.

Kucharik stuff is very nice as well. For the afordable. I have a pair of their 8 panel bibs with leather chamois and love them.

I haven't tried the wool blend, just the standard wicking synthetic. They are my go-to choice, under $10. It's a base layer. I see no need to spend $30+ for Craft and the like.
