He and his partner at Fat Cat split years ago. I don’t know if the shop even still exists.

He has worked at a couple of shops over the past few years and had looked into moving to CO at one point.

I haven’t seen or spoken to him in a while other than on FB. I know he talks to my son on the pro bike mechanic forum.

No. Didn't work out, some partnership challenges. But glad to hear from you. Hope you're well, happy and riding.

Is it this one?

I miss Sandy, he was very kind to me in a difficult time in my life and I will always feel fondness for him. He caught a lot of **** from folks (Swoop mostly) about his dog King's persona. I also miss Swoop as he had a very honest if not blunt way of stating things. Noel was an incredibly smart man, but had a way about him.

Sandy is a good man and I miss his perspective here a lot.

Years ago, there was a guy, whose name I can't remember. I think he was a lawyer and lived in Chicago, but literally every week, he'd post pictures of a new, custom or highly rare bike he acquired, all with Super Record. Must have had 30 rigs.

One might have thought he was Robin Williams. That's another one who's not around.
