Looked at the article, interesting but what's MOST interesting is at the bottom of the article, the ad from ProBikeKit..discounting the thing BikeRadar just tested.

I was waiting for this as my nine year old Quarq started to throw up some odd calibration numbers but a) I got tired of waiting, and b) I had a vague concern over the first version of a pm. I know Shimano is different from a startup and they seem to be using a Pioneer style approach, but so many companies seem to have trouble getting a reliable product. So, I took advantage of Quarq's generous out of warranty replacement and got a Dfour 91 a few days ago.

That plug scares me. It seems like it would be easily torn off.
