Front Child Carriers with Carbon Fork

My son just turned one and he's big enough to get out for some short rides with me. I have a Trek/Burley trailer and an Adam's Trail-a-Bike already, but I really like the idea of having him out in front.

I want to use my MTB with full carbon fork. I like the look of the Thule Ridealong Mini or similar. Obviously, they specify an aluminum or steel steerer for liability reasons.

Another option looks like the WeeRide Kangaroo, but I'm not sure how much headtube above the TT is required for the mount or if the slope of my bike's TT would have the child carrier tilted too far back.

Anyone have experience with this type of child carrier to share?

I've used (and in about a year will be using again) the Bobike Mini. My son loved it. He hated and still hates the Burley trailer. He likes the rear seat (Yepp Maxi) pretty well.

I think the clamp for the Bobike Mini mount would be fine inasmuch as it's rubberized and won't scratch the carbon.
