Oh man I remember those campy brakes. Dammit . 25+ years ago . A friend had a Basso with campy and I remember those brakes.
At the time I really paid 0 attention to that detail

Chris Bishop does something that very few builders do - he adds fillet to lugs to make the transition ultra smooth. His attention to detail is amazing.

But then maybe I'm just a little bit biased. I pulled the trigger on a deposit in Febuary and have a firm place in his queue.

Oh and he's just an all around nice guy....who I understand is a beast on the bike.

Yes. His work is quite nice but that bike wouldn't make my top 50.

It's nice and all but the Colnago C40 HP in black and gold in the classifieds is far better looking. I prefer my Meivici too. But yes, it is beautiful. But please ditch the seatpost!!

I still haven't found an image of the whole bike but this is more than enough.
There is a lot more than "beauty is skin deep" in this detail.

I forgot how good Rad/55 is/was with a camera. He was pretty active over on Bikeforums back then too, which was how I saw most of his work.

About the Bishop: what is the purpose of the dimple in then middle of the chainstay?

(and that pina is gaudy)

It's for chainring clearance for when you put on an 82 tooth.
