Have you ever dressed up in a costume for a bike race?

A buddy just showed me a picture of a salmon costume he made for a cross race. Hilarious. Have you ever dressed up in some ridiculous costume? There's some great ones out there!

For the final event in a weekly TT series, a few of us dressed up in white shirt and tie, slacks... We were the time-trialing Mormons.

Darkness at 909 is a night race in the woods always on Halloween.

So yes, I have for that one.

It seems to be pretty typical in cross races particularly around Halloween. I've never seen it from anyone other then fans on the side of the road in road races though.

Not my thing but to each their own.

A few years ago I donned a black robe thing, a fake beard and some plastic animals glued to an old helmet and was Noah (+ Ark) for a cx race. Haven't done anything in a while though.

A certain forum member and framebuilder raced at a local CX race in a costume, was warned for not wearing a legal jersey, and was forced to change it. I wasn't the Chief Referee, so it wasn't my warning. Meanwhile, a guy in a tutu was allowed to participate. #iluvusac

I used to wear my pink Mercatone Uno kit with bunny ears on Easter. Does that count?

There are a lot of people dressed up in the 24 hours in the old pueblo race. I saw Santa at about 4 am this year. A couple of folks rode in a thong only and some dude ran bollock naked for the Le Mans start to the bikes, so not so much dressing up but dressing down. Not the prettiest sight.
