Ribble Cycles

Has anyone here had any experience ordering from Ribble or Merlin Cycles in the UK? Good or bad? Thanks

Yep, ordered from Ribble plenty of times. No problems at all. Both of these get mentioned and recommended on here quite frequently

Both

Both great! Delivery in the 3 to 10 days range

Would certainly order SRAM etap from Ribble again, they are one of the few left shipping to the US

Both are good, reliable, fast. Wiggle and Chain Reaction are good too.
For a smaller shop I have been happy with Slane Cycles (Ireland, run by 2 brothers, one an ex-pro).

The only big UK shop I avoid like the plague is ProBikeKit.

Thanks for the positive replies. Good question from Fogrider is there a warranty in the US? Anyone other experiences?

I assume you meant "VAT".

If you are in the US, you don't pay VAT.

Used them all including pbk. Only issue I've had was the long wait when I ordered from pbk. Don't know if it was on their end or customs, but it took 5-6 weeks for a set of wheels to get here. Never had to wait that long when ordering from Ribble or Merlin.

ChainReactionCycles ships very quickly and has $1.99 returns from the US -- which is huge if you find something on sale and aren't 100% sure on fit.. Plus, if you join the CyclingTips VeloClub Insider ($99/yr) you get 10% off on top of any other sales/coupons one time per month from them. I joined the club to support the PodCast, but that was a nice bonus for sure.
