Today - The Elvis Brothers.
All the Chuck Berry hoopla made me think of a guy I attended high school with, one Rob Newhouse. Rumor had it that he played in Chuck's band. I remember his band Coal Kitchen from my College Days, then went on to The Elvis Brothers, capitalizing on the Stray Cats momentum. Nice seeing mention of GP and Big Star. |

There's a new blondie song I heard recently, as well as a new Weezer song...the Blondie song is pretty much a classic Blondie song. The Weezer song is a departure from classic Weezer, and has followed the trend of their last few songs (and album) and is keeping up with the times as far as "alt-rock sound"
