sadly, since getting these, i don't find i wear any watch that much anymore. luckily, these are, to me anyway, simply beautifully designed objects. i like the simplicity of each. for me, less is more in a watch.

I've always really liked that one. I had a rubber strap version but the strap just didnt rest right on my wrist. I'm tempted to try the one pictured...

Bringing up an oldie (but a goodie)
Was doing some housekeeping and pulled out a couple items. This watch was my grandfather's -- reads Waterproof 17 Jewels Incabloc. I'm assuming it's from sometime in the 50's and perhaps army issue (korean war) or purchased sometime around then, but really have no idea. no brand name and an interesting rounded crown. If anyone might have any info on this one, I'd love to know... A few in the second picture, an older Seiko 5 and Timex, both automatics, were an a dresser that was in our house when we bought it. Amazing how much smaller we were back then, as there's no prayer of any of the existing bracelets/straps fitting me, so I've gone NATO happy. Finally, the Tag Monaco I've had for some time, but figured a refresh with the NATO straps was in order.
