Crown race puller...new use for

top silver piece was rusted on pretty good. thinking how to get this off without mangling....crown race puller to the rescue. it did mangle the seal underneath but when assembled all turned out well

even a couple of 2x4's, one as a brace and one to whack the steerer didn't budge it. it took a lot for the crown race puller to do its job

next time i will buy Kroil...smells a lot better than PB Blaster and Liquid Wrench

Corrosion protection test in progress. Each bike has been treated using a different, secret protection formula. Five years from now PS will know which elixir is the best one.

Nice!

I'll have to remember this one next time I come across that problem. Last time it was PB Blaster and a rubber mallet, since the ST was carbon... It's so obvious, but I wouldn't have thought of this myself in a million years. Thanks for sharing!
