Interesting article about how both teams are struggling - to the point where they have to worry about getting into the March Madness.

UNC won't make the dance, but Duke will. Duke is not elite this year though, but things happen in college bball. My team is Louisville and although they are going to be a bubble team, they are young and play hard. It has bee a fun year for basketball.

True, Duke is not an elite team and have problems when they face quick slashing guards. But they are struggling at a 20-4 record. If Mason Plumlee continues his improvement, the Blue Devils might be quite a different team in March.

At least coach Roy is showing some class regarding his trying season:

"Massage therapist told me, she said, 'You know, coach, what happened in Haiti is a catastrophe. What you're having is a disappointment.' I told her that depends on what chair she was sitting in. Because it does feel like a catastrophe to me, because it is my life."

With a National Championship fresh in his pocket, old Roy can afford one rebuilding season and maybe an NIT bid. But next year, the loyal Billy Goats will be looking to butt him out if they ain't top 10 all season.
