Var Bb facing tool
I have an older var 380 facing tool that does English BB's fine, it doesn't use threaded guides, just press fit so to speak. I would like to be able to face italian BB as well, and while I thought about making a shim so it fits Italian bottom brackets it looks like Var now uses threaded guides like Park. Does anyone know if the newer guides can be used with the older tool? I tried emailing Var but got no response.

Call wayne at veloclasique, he can tell you for sure. He is the VAR rep for the US. He actually uses var in his shop aswell so sure he knows.
