So Tragic!!

Watched him in the Tour of the Alps last week. Amazing to see him come through with a stage win at 37!! So much left to live for with a wife and two beautiful children. Pulled out my favorite jersey for todays ride in honor of his passing.

This incident continues to be so sad, even beyond the emotions for his wife and twins.

This image made me cry when I saw it earlier today:
Frankie, Scarponi's parrot, waiting for him at the site of the incident, with all the flowers and memorials already piling up....
