Tried to post pics but they're too big and I'm at work/don't have time to mess around with pictures/really shouldn't be on here anyway.

77 miles on gravel Saturday with a friend, south wind started out around 13-14 mph and ended up about 20 with gusts in the high 30s. Just had some new tubuless wheels built up and this was my first real ride on them, 700x38 Trigger Pros with 35 psi. I liked it

We averaged about 14 going south and nearly 19 coming back. Coming back was fun

Thunderstorms overnight meant the gravel roads were a little wet on Sunday morning but not nasty. Group ride from the LBS; I cut it a little short to get back home in time for easter dinner but managed nearly 50 miles at 16 mph on gravel.

12 hours for the week, so I was happy with it.

I got in a nice ride yesterday. I don't have a computer on my bike so no idea of the actual mileage, but a couple of hours of riding at my typical pace(not very fast)before going to the inlaws for easter dinner. Beautiful weather with some head winds here and there. No pics until I buy a new phone or get a smaller camera.

Did a couple of neat rides where I rode up to some trailheads and went snowshoeing.

Great Easter ride here in Portlandia. My usual Sunday group minus those who were on "family duty". Ride stats: 53miles/2800' and NO RAIN!

Solo ride around Lake Washington on the De Rosa Neo Primato I just picked up. Beautiful day and a sweet ride. My first road ride over 50 miles this year. I've stayed pretty lean this winter thanks to replacing most of my driving with e-biking, but that also means very little power. My partner is out of town and my kids are with their mom, but I really enjoyed the time to myself. A long ride alone just completely empties my thoughts.

went on a weekend away with the wife for our tenth dating anniversary. southern PA was the destination. essentially between Cumberland and Bedford. we stayed at a spot with our own pond and 10 miles of singletrack/hiking trails to explore. we mostly took the dogs on those as I didn't have a MTB and they were still kinda leaf-covered; but I got a nice road ride in anyway.

obviously with ten miles of trails cut into the land, the owner is into bikes. he in fact runs a touring company, primarily aimed at tours of the abandoned PA turnpike (which I didn't get to explore this trip, sadly). he's also incorporated bikes into the cabin we stayed in. the best part were all these old Cannondale tubes he'd used as deck railing supports. apparently, they were paint samples sent to his shop over the years.

anyway, I also got a road ride in on Friday. absolutely gorgeous riding down there. drivers give you tons of space, there's barely any cars, and the pavement is just impeccable. a welcome surprise, coming from the pothole-riddled roads of northeast Ohio. it's like they have no winter down there! the only negative was I did get chased by farm dogs on three separate occasions; once by a giant Great Dane that chased me into the oncoming lane!

ride stats: 45 miles. 3800' of climbing. 2:45 hours moving. 68 degree avg.

Specht Store that I bike by three times a week. Got stopped by county sheriff for running stop sign at intersection of Blanco and Specht Rds. Got by with just a warning.😀

Woah crazy, I'm sure I've seen you on the road then! Pm incoming.

Were you out Friday morning on a black Serotta? If it was you, I noticed the bike when we passed in the car and then passed you again by the airport. Guess I should have said something!
