I don't think I fixed Global Warming but I did get my shifters mounted. This is going to sound stupid and Iam still baffeled that it worked but I was desperate!

I flipped the band over and it went right on the front brifter side without being mounted to the lever. The rear brifter I started with just the band but I had to add the brifter for a bit more leverage. Brifters on now I need to add everything else. Hoping this is my only hiccup and the rest goes smoothly! Crazy this worked?
