problem mounting DA9000 shifters Enve compact road bar

Trying to mount second hand DA9000 shifters on ENVE Compact Road Bar. I can't get the shifter bracket past the sharp bend of the bar. I have never had this problem before. Is there different diameters of mounting hardware? Iam about 2" shirt of where I need to be.

Any help will be appreciated.

separate lever from band, move band to where its needs to be, re-attach lever.

Sorry just saw somebody else posted the same.

Have you tried unscrewing the mounting bolt completely so the mounting bracket is unattached from the shifter? I always seperate the two so that you can easily slide the mounting bracket without scratching the bars.

I agree I hate to scratch bars but it's a no go. Very frustrated right now!

My last resort is to open up the bracket and stretch it out a bit.

Yeah I am going to mess around with it and see if I can figure it out. Any other suggestions welcome.

It has to be mounted to the lever. Attach it but just barely. And try a little light grease. If that still doesn't work, try filing the band.

Grease didn't work I will try the file tomorrow. The back of the bracket is stamped titanium 23.8-24.2 measured the bar at 24.4. I will try filing the bracket tomorrow. So frustrated!

Try rotating the lever either to the inside or outside to get around the bend.

9000/Enve compact

I run this exact same setup on multiple bikes and I have never had a problem getting the shifters up the bars.
Do not start filing and messing about. Should not be needed.
Instead, disassemble the clamp on the shifter, make sure the bolt is not galled, make sure the backing plate on the clamp moves as it should- reinstall all the parts and try again.

I have tried this multiple times Shimano has really stumped the dummy on this one. If it was only one shifter I wouldn't be so concerned but it's both sides. The clamp is so tight it starts to shave the bar so I stop. Even on the drops it is tight enough to scratch the bar once I get to the bend in the bar just below the final mounting area it's a solid no go. I don't want to force levers on this whole process should be much smoother. I feel like I'm missing something super simple. Does Shimano have different diameters clamp mounts?

Yep I bought some socks over Christmas and won them as a promotional gift maybe that's why they gave them away LOL! I have thought about it being a problem with the bars.

The ENVE Compact bars I bought from you had no issues with the 7900 Shifters slipped right on.
