Between the two of them I'm more inclined to think Nick Brandt-Sorenson is the tool.

When's a Vaughters-led club done anything on the World Stage in recent memory? I guess Talansky won Paris-Nice, but I have a hard time feeling like that team should still be considered WT level.

Yesterday, as practice for the Phil Gaimon is Super Clean, Hardworking and Awesome but NBS Needs a Legal Defense Fundraising Paceline Ride, kitsnob and I participated in Team Dream Team's Lazy Sunday Ride. It was chill. Kitsnob wore his gray and pink NBS kit which matched his black and pink Alchemy and his black, pink and gray socks. Sock...game...be...tite.

That's because you live down south in North County, where things are more chill. He's talking about stuff that is happening North of the Orange Curtain, where things are just a bit edgier.

I've heard that Phil Gaimon is the poster boy for clean cycling and living on 2.5CDN daily. Maybe. In my neck of the woods, he's just a cat who does training rides with cats who do training rides with NBS. To paraphrase a pal, "burn it all down." Since that isn't a punishable offense on Paceline, I'll also reveal that P. Gaimons runs red lights like a lunatic at the World Famous Montrose Ride. I know dudes around here frown upon that sort of reckless behavior.

Has anyone listened to that Phil G. podcast yet?

He asks Bobby Lea if he's taken performance enhancing substances right off the bat and the dude said no. GROAN. Aside from that idiotic exchange the podcast is pretty flat. Meh.

Phil should stick with the bike racing thing and get a bit more focused. He's on a 1-year contract with C-Dale and might want to get hungry for some race results instead of web metrics. His fellow domestic racer cohort, Janier Acevedo had a quieter but much more successful time on Garmin and still didn't make the cut when his contract was up.

Sports!
