Homemade embrocation cream?

Saw an online recipe - olive oil and Vicks vapo - sounded interesting. Anyone made their own?

Yea, never got why people rub that stuff all over themselves. Arm, knee, and leg warmers work so well.

However, a good home-brew recipe: Skunk oil and bear fat with hot peppers.

I saw a guy use it as chamois cream by accident.
It was a setup and I wasnt involved.
Looked painful.

I've read that there are cooling embros and heating embros. For heating, you almost certainly need http://www.lalaessentialoils.com/cap...capsaicin.html in the mix. I don't use it enough to justify the expense of gathering homebrew ingredients, so I just purchase Mad Alchemy versions when I need it. In the Summer in particular, I find that embro attracts dirt and insects, so I'm limited to knee warmer season.
