Serotta Fierte Ti/Carbon

A friend has one for sale that is a 54cm...it's in perfect condition but not positive of the year. What is the value of a frame like this if I wanted to purchase it? It's built up with Campy SR 11 currently!

I had one of those, a very good bike. My opinion of frameset value; $900~$1200.

Great! That's not as much as I thought it would cost. With the full SR build, wheels, and F3 Fork he's asking $2500..I just don't know much about appraising used bikes/frames.

I've been watching these on ebay for a while. All Ti frames seem to be going for $750 to $900. Ti with a rear carbon end might be a little more, but not a lot more. I've seen a ti/carbon tubes frame go for as low as $850, but I think the estimate of up to $1,200 isn't too far off.

I think your friend is too high on his price. a full bike Ti/Carbon Fierte with Campy 10 just sold for under $1,200 a few weeks ago.
