Totally agree on watching ITTs - something I never ever do. Even a huge fan it's a bore.

With 6 riders with 90 seconds and 4 within a minute seems to me the Tour really needs to change their format. The giro has consistently been a better race from a fan's perspective for a long time.

"Italian television reported that Dumoulin was going at an average speed of over 60kph in the opening kilometres"

To the SI unit challenged, that is 37.5 mph.
