(I'll get on those links)
such a better ride than the Michelin PR3 & Conti GP4000s they replaced & plenty durable & fast...there's no noticeable penalty to speed btwn the 25c & 28c version (in fact, I think the 28c rolls quicker) Not as bullet proof as the Conti's but the trade-off in ride quality/road feel is well worth it.

Since we're posting up Gunnars... here's mine again.

Spent 4hrs and 55mi on it yesterday

April 04 build date. Only one I've ever seen this color green.

Edited to add: now its a Rival/Force mix. Guess I'd better update my pic!

Sweet Gunnars! I'm almost finishing up my new-to-me Crosshairs in time for spring.

Once upon a time, I found a 110mm adaptor on ebay for that gen XTR and bought it so I could swap back and forth between 'cross gearing' and 'road gearing.' In that pic the 50t ring was installed. In the fall, a 44t or 46t ring goes on in its place and the CXHairs becomes the 'B bike' to my Full Tilt Boogie.

That is great. That crankset, a matching xtr RD, and a set of 10spd ergos would make a great cross setup.

My first stab at a gravel bike.

I have on Gran Bois Cypres (700x30c). They ride like CLOUDS. Love them. I might not agree with Jan Heine on many things, but he's doing us all a huge favor importing these tires.

ALL-CITY Nature Boy

shure does a hell of a job getting me around those gravelroads in the wintertime

the Igleheart fork and the White/Mavic wheels with Tufo tubulars shure do help

That bike had a D/A/XTR mix on it for a lot of years when I was running 7700. Then I went SRAM and it was Rival/XTR for a bit. Then I got a deal on a Force crank/BB and now its Rival/Force. Probably be something else in the future.

The XTR front worked acceptably with both the D/A and Rival shifters. The Rival that's on there now works better. The D/A fronts that're on my other 2 bikes works even better than that.

Here's yet another Crosshairs; I just finished building it. It came with the crank and canti brakes; I may switch out for mini-V's (the front still squeals a bit after doing all the tricks I could find). Its maiden voyage to work today was fun. Hopefully this spring/summer I can get out of the city and do some gravel.

Curtlo All arounder

I just finished building my Curtlo all around bike that can handle up to 35mm tires. Right now it is set up for commuting with 28mm tires but I definitely plan to do some long gravel on it.
