Remarkable how well Dumoulin rode given his size, and the number of mountain stages. He gave it all he had, and it was just enough.

When you think about it though, without the diarrhea incident, TD would have won by 2+ minutes. Pretty incredible given how mountainous the course was.

I will look forward to watching TD at the TdF, but I don't think he has the team to pull it off there.

What a finish. The only hiccup was Pinot, who totally crapped out. But Dumoulin was amazing, earning the win that was rightfully his.

My wife and I were standing behind Dumoulin's lady and he threw the flowers right at us. Also, we were sprayed with prosecco.

All in all, a remarkable race and trip!

You picked a good year to visit the Giro, cool photos and worth framing. I expected Pinot to have a much better TT.
