That's cool, want

Thought I had contributed to this thread already...just looked through all 22 pages while waiting for LBL to wind up...having a bike porn and racing kinda morning.

Here's my Co-Motion Nor'Wester.

I normally run 28 Ultremos, but shown with 32 Ritcheys here.

Budget gravel grinder v.1.0

Started out life as a 91 Schwinn Crosscut, after powder coat and classic style decals were done, I had the bright idea to try to put drop bars on it. Might have worked better if I was less leg and more torso, but didn't like how flexy the quill adapter was at the height needed for my fit. So I went back to the original flat bar seen here in the pre-powder coat days:

UPS is bringing me a new frame today for a new build, for a semi-budget gravel grinder, pictures to be posted as that progresses.

Love the frame and fork and overall look. I am a bit challenged with the red seatpost/stem/tape -- clashes with the orange to my eye. But if you love it that's what counts. And I bet it rides awesomely!

Yeah...I get that reaction sometime. It was done to represent a sponsor of the ride I direct, the Oregon Coast Visitors Association. Here's the jacket I designed to match.

Love the graphics on the jacket, and I can see the red tie-in now. Love Belgian blue, and the orange with it is primo.

This is a build in progress...hope to have it ready in the next few weeks.

I posted pictures elsewhere, but thought I should update this thread with the completed bike since it's back on the front page.

Here's my Anvil CX built with Centaur Century drivetrain except for CK hubs with 8 speed ShimaNO cassette, Salsa Delgado rims. Mini-Vs for stopping.
Look closely at the rear triangle:Look like a Speedvagen? Story is that Don Ferris designed/built these rear triangles and sold some to Sasha White. You can then connect the dots...
