I did almost the same ride yesterday except I started in Loch Arbour and went down to Manasquan then back up to Sandy Hook. The waves were absolutely off the chain yesterday. Maxed out in size in Belmar. Some well overhead sets and as hollow as you want. All the jetties were packed and the lots were full with out of state plates. #NOTlocalsonly #Bennygohome

Drove up to New Paltz and rode to Ashokan Reservoir, about 80m/7k ft in total. Beautiful fall colors, my cell phone cam does no justice.

Basilic...thanks for the pictures of the Mont Blanc range- stunning! I understand that Fall climbing conditions there have been outstanding due to the wet
Summer resulting in sustained snowfall up high. Dired...thanks to you too for the New Paltz pics! The cliffs at the Shawangunks have been a climbing destination of mine for nearly 50 years, and the Fall colors there are always impressive. Easily the equal of New England. What a coincidence, two posts of my favorite climbing venues back-to-back on the Forum! |

From my Sunday ride
Here are a couple of mine from Sunday. I stayed on shadow guy's wheel, but just couldn't seem to get by him!

And from yesterday's ride. We've been experiencing exceptional fall weather in the Minneapolis area.
