This does serve a purpose. It makes me realize I may/do have enough.
i like the way my MX Leader rides. at 160lbs i think you'll find the ride pretty good too. just stay away from radial laced wheels since they can add a little harshness to the ride.

Too many!

Peg duende
IF Crown Jewel SE
Lemond Sarthe
Cinelli Super Corsa
Merlin
Lemond Zurich
Leader 716R
Carl Strong
Tommasini

Everything will go except Peg Duende, will be looking for a Moots or Legend for a Ti bike. I really only need one but spoiled and ride a lot, so 2 it will be, a steel and a Ti.

Look 585/Record Compact Carbon
Interloc Scandium/Record Carbon
Basso/Record 9 spd
Serotta Colo III/Record fixie
Trek 600/fixie
Bianchi SS/city bike
Track bike (I built)/Suntour Track
2 vintage Schwinn Varsity's (Men's and Mixte)
Raleigh 531 Cross
Hoppalong Cassidy 20" citybike
Santa Cruz Heckler/Sram X0
Yeti Arc/XTR

There are a few more out in the shed in various states of disrepair, but these ones are basically all rideable, except the Raleigh cross bike, which has a broken seat tube.

My wife (who I happen to love, regardless) allows only FOUR bikes in the house. So they are:

1) '05 Moots Compact
2) '01 Solo Velo road fixie (made by a local Bay Area builder)
3) '93 S-Works Road M2
4) '93 M2 Stumpjumper

However, the '77 Motobecane 531 Grand Record and '92 Basso Ti frames are now "garage art" and I claim they DO NOT count against the total allowed.

The incoming Peg Marcelo will supplant the S-Works Road M2 (as soon as Mr. Pegoretti builds it, that is).

Thanks! Came with a set of Ritchey OCR's, not the original wheelset---the rest of the bike is a 9 spd Dura Ace gruppo. As one can see from the corresponding wheelset thread, I have a few choices... OK... maybe too many.

Four bikes in the house? So no limit on the number in the garage? Cool!

My stabilized fleet:

-1955 Raleigh Sports
-1969 Peugeot Mixte w/650b wheels
-1978(ish) Pogliaghi track bike
-1982 Cinelli Super Corsa (unbuilt, beat, and in need of a total restoration)
-1986 Pinarello Montello (unbuilt at the moment, but gorgeous)
-1994 Merckx MX Leader Telekom team bike
-1996 Merckx/Caloi MX Leader Motorola team bike

I don't anticipate any changes this year. I'm pretty happy with what I have.

Cheers,

Texbike

Built:
Pegoretti Fina Estampa w/record
Gunnar Crosshairs set up as a commuter w/Chorus
Fisher 292 MTB w/SRAM

In the box:
Merckx MX Leader - rode it for many years, had it restored just waiting....
Mercian KOM 531 - first real road bike, can't part with it. needs restoring.
Merckx SLX track frame - Superbe Pro kit in the bag.
Soma Smoothie ES - replacement for the one that broke. Bought the Gunnar when I got tired of waiting.
Cannondale 2.8 - saving it for a trainer bike when I move to WA this summer.

Our wives think alike.

By your count I own 2 bikes linked below. However, In the garage, and thus not really counting in the grand total, live a Bill Davidson filet brazed tandem. CAAD7 shod with full fenders and flaps, Masi 3V Volumetrica, Stumpjumper Comp hardtail. 2 Unicycles. Litespeed classic hidden away somewhere else.

Not enough, a caad4 and an Atlanta, and an old Tommasini. My Paramount got stolen. The trek 950 doesn't count.
