Am I missing something? With a max speed of 30 km/h your intervals are limited to climbs, right?

Just thinking that -- too slow. But if it were faster, too dangerous? This is for base miles I guess, not interval training.

My guess is that while the belt may have a 30kph maximum, it could increase resistance so you could produce power in excess of what you'd produce at 30kph on a flat section of road.

The steering characteristics would presumably 'feel' like you were going 30kph on this contraption, but you'd be able to do more watts?
