Agree. Don't glam it up and detract from a nice frame. Beyond that, whatever your little heart desires.

Cable housing is a little like that. You have to have some, it's gonna be visible, might as well do what you can with it.

Myself, I'd strongly consider yellow for that frame. Depending, as noted, on what tape & seat, and whether you're aiming for a more period-correct look, or, uh... otherwise...
I'm another vote for yellow--but then that's what I did with my original Falcon when I got it repainted Ferrari red... (Red and yellow splash tape too.)

housing isn't really an element to be 'highlighted'...go black or white.

def not yellow.

and splash tape is never a wise move...<shudder>

I have a bruce gordon that is yellow with small red highlights. red housing looks terrible on it, black looks bumble bee, yellow looks great.

totally agree..stay with black or gray.
I put white cables on 1 bike (Motorola merckx) it just looks too "busy" not really a part of the bike that need's attention drawn to it.. never have changed them out but when I do it will be black or gray.

Masi builds

Here are a couple photos of it with white housing. That's what it had on it it's whole life. I think it started its life with all white stuff (saddle/bars/housing) but I switched out saddle/bars a couple of times and I was always too lazy to switch out housing.

Looks fantastic. You don't want to overdo it on the matchy matchy, ATMO. Also, ride report, please!

Hmmm, yellow just does not seem like the right accent color IMO. I know the decals are yellow but I would go for a black saddle, white or black tape and the same for the pedals. Yellow housing?

Jagwire makes a nice blue shift housing that would pick up your decal accents. Red for the brakes. Black saddle, black leather tape, or brown brown would be nice. Its a great looking bike!
