Chorus ergo w/Potenza rear d?
Quick question, I'm building my first 11spd drive train. I happen to have a set of Chorus 11spd ergos and a rear Potenza derailleur. Compatible or not? Wanna make sure before I start the build.
Thanks KRhea |

I have not moved to 11s, but to get a good answer, I think you need to specify which Chorus 11s you are using.

Thanks, you're probably right, my bad. These are 2015 Chorus Ultra Shift levers. I know they're not "backwards" compatible but can't find any info that says they will or won't work with new stuff.

Yes, plug and play. Even older(<2015) ERGO.

A friend bought a new Potenza bike, upgraded the shifters to Chorus. Works great.

That's a pretty tempting combo.

Although not necessarily my style my friend bought a gravel type bike. Disc brakes, mainly Potenza, but to get a good feel in the levers, the shop put in Chorus. Higher quality contact points, a valid way to build a bike.
