The Pirates were super-hot coming down the stretch, and it was all the Cards could do to barely stay ahead of them and win the division, but so far tonight they haven't done much offensively and Bumgartner (sp?) has the game well in hand.

Well Pirate fans, should they come back tonight it will be one of greatest ever.

If they don't, congratulations on a fine season. I'm sure the Cardinals will be battling it out with you again next year.

Great to see George Brett in the stands..

As for the Pirates..I like Hurdle..came from the Rockies...too bad..small market teams.
