I tried to organize a separate DFW Paceline ride a few years ago on this route, but it didn't pan out - I rode it with a few friends on a beautiful early December day with support provide by my family - met us at site of 3 rest stops.

Doug, I'm planning to do Paluxy this year with my daughter. I scored her a steel Fierte earlier this year and she has been riding well. Hope to see you there! Look for the Serotta twins.

I've gotten quite a few PMs about if/when this ride is going to take place. Dave's plans/dates are still sorting themselves out. As soon as he settles on the dates that he will be here/day(s) that he will be available to ride, I will post something here immediately and try to settle on something.

I hope to get there - plans still up in the air due to children's activities. Neither of my daughters, who are of driving age, have any interest in learning to drive. The sacrifices I make for them (and that are making me fat)!

I don't let that bother me. I haven't ridden much in the last two years, but I still go out for the occasional charity ride of 100k or greater.
