2nd on the table w/out a

real, preditory, striker (sorry H.K. but...)
Only 3 points separate the chasing contenders, and LC is only 5 points clear of my Lillywhites
38 matches total, 24 played, 14 matches left before LC lifts the cup
can they stay the course or will they stumble & fall away
Claudio Ranieri is the semi- gregarious protagonist of this LC tale, the man just knows how to win hardware. Wondering if these LC players be able to work around their pitch, mental, errors allowing them to survive the final "big club" push? We shall see.

Alan Shearer was saying on Match of the Day that back when he won the title with Blackburn, they fell over the finishline as opposed to finishing in strides, and his point was that this could happen to Leicester somewhere down the road. Possible, but the only remaining contenders they have to face are Arsenal away, Southampton at home, West Ham at home, and Man U away. That's it. They've dealt with the other main contenders, and it seems that the remaining roadblocks aren't so insurmountable...

Leicester crushed Man City yesterday. Crushed. It could be their year.
Spurs are a very hot team. It could be their year.
Arsenal looks good (most of the time). It could be their year.
Soooo wide open. Very entertaining.

While most of us at this point usually focus on who is getting relegated, this year will be much different.

As an Arsenal fan, I probably enjoyed today's finish more than most fans, but Arsenal v LC was a game every fan could savor I think. Looks like the title will go down right to the end, doesn't it? Truth be told, I exhaled a HUGE sigh of relief as Welbeck scored...and the Gunners actually seized a moment of truth for once.

SPOILERS!!!

just joking.

actually logged on to see if anyone bumped this thread. That was an interesting game; too bad i'll have to wait until 5:30 for MoTD2.

Btw, how are you watching your games, and how do you like the coverage? It seems NBC Sport may be my only option...

2 of the 3 games were fantastic (Villa vs Pool not so much). Hello relegation, Villa.

Both influenced by controversial calls (as a neutral in both games I disagreed with both calls, but more so with "elbow ball") As a defender myself, you have to mind yourself when already carrying a yellow.

All in all, the race just got a whole lot more exciting. 12 games left & Watford is in the top half of the table. Wooohooo.

I'm watching NBCSN. I like the coverage. They certainly have committed the resources/hours to the EPL. And must confess I have a fondness for 'Men in Blazers' as well.

I've been watching most of the Arsenal games for the last couple months with my neighbor from England and have been really enjoying it. I thought today's game was one of the most exciting sporting games I've watched in a long time. Also it's kind of amazing to be done watching sports by 9 am on a Sunday unlike when I watch Pats games which dominate how I plan my day.
