RIP Bill Bove - one of our older members

I just saw a post on FB that seems to indicate that long time member, cycling enthusiast, bike tech, and all around good guy, Bill Bove may have passed away down in FL.

Updated - “Mr. Pink” has, in fact, passed away in Florida. No details yet.

He will be truly missed.

Sad to hear....he posted about Dicky Betts 4 days ago, and from the numerous posts on his FB, it appears he followed him not long after.

So, we don't get your bikes?

Thought the mix up didn't involve an actual passing. Apologies and condolences.

Perhaps out of respect the loss of one of our group we should move the deservedly funny banter about the mistaken identity to the ‘weirdest thing that happened to you on Paceline’ thread.

Bought a bike from Bill (@ FatCat Bicycles) back in the day. Colnago Tecnos, when I was just getting back into cycling.

A good guy. RIP.

Oh man, sad news indeed. I just went back through some classic Bill Bove threads. You are missed sir. Rest in peace Mr FatCat.

Sorry Mr Pink

Bill’s favorite color for bikes and kit was pink and I took a guess based on the Betts thread (but the join date didn’t feel right)
