According to the internet the EPS has no less vertical compliance than the C50.

If I had the dough, I'd still opt for a C59. By all reports its ride was sublime and visually it floats my boat far more than the c60.

Me too. So, are they still really building c59s for a limited time?

^Well, it's still being sold, which may or may not mean that Colnago has not gone through all the C59 tubing. In any case, it's the only way to get a horizontal top tube. Also, all 2014 C59s are Italia models and compatible with both electronic or mechanical systems.

According to a LBS owner, they are still building the C59. When he recently bought a new Colnago, he had the choice of any model, including the C60, and he went with the C59. I think I'm quoting him correctly in that, he says it's the best bike he's owned.

Colnago planned to offer both the C-59 and C-60 for 2015 possibly even longer. They stopped making the C-59 to start production of the C-60 (they use the same production process) with the intention of resuming once the first run of the new model was completed. The response for the C-60 was greater than expected so they have stopped the C-59. From what I was told they have no plans to resume the C-59.
The C-59 is not in the 2015 lineup.
The C-60 can be made to custom specs including geometry, paint or a level top tube.

That's a game saver for many, including me. That will at least make it possible to own one assuming the bottom bracket doesn't become the deal breaker. I will investigate further on that news.

I do believe a few C59 Disc in small sizes, still exist.

I suspect you would want a threaded BB which would require a different BB lug. I doubt it would be possible.
