"These Dreams" - Heart. What an awful, awful song and it makes sense as the guy who co wrote it was behind "We Built This City". It has been floating in my brain for weeks!!!! I'm flushing it out with some Stranglers "Toiler on the Sea".

Funny coincidence, I was just thinking how Ann Wilson has been my favorite female rock vocalist all the way till now. Such a great powerful voice. I often listen to "Nuthin' at All" over and over. Their music has taken me from the age 30 to 40.

Otoh the Fleetwood Mac Rumors CD has been in the car all week, and I've been repeating Dreams.

Doggies and Kitties don't last forever, but they do a lot better than fish...

The Ballad of Lucy Jordan

Watched a dvd of the film Montenegro lately and subsequently checked out several covers of The Ballad of Lucy Jordan. My favorite is the Bobby Bare version, on The Moon was Blue.

I love Little Feat. Your post prompted me to find the live version of this album. Great stuff. I wish I had seen them live, but I was late to their music.
Thanks

Saw them not long before Lowell George died, like so many, way too young. He was a great singer and guitarist.

I trust you on that. I may have never listened to that album because it was live. My loss. Great live band and something great to have stuck in my mind. I love "Trouble".

Been getting back into Titus Andronicus' first album recently. Best song writing to come out of NJ since Springsteen.
