Looking for a short drop, flat cross bar, BAR.

I'm interested in getting a short drop bar with a flat area on the top. Found this on eBay and it ticks the right boxes (44 wide), but have no clue regarding the quality. Are the Chinese mfg. bars like this safe...I'd hate to be standing in a climb and have it break!

I've got an aluminum version of that bar (under the brand "Dimension" -- QBP stuff) on about 5 of my bikes. Works pretty well in my book, light enough, has survived a lot of off-pavement abuse, and pretty inexpensive.

I have a 420mm wide Satori X-Race Aero Carbon on my gravel bike. The same alu model is pretty cheap. Taiwan made.

The dimensions of my bar are actually:-
reach 56mm centre-to-centre
drop 71mm c-to-c
width at hoods 420mm c-to-c
width at drops 444mm c-to-c

I prefer a bar with a bit of a flatter area at the drops curve.

Don't know your budget but that looks to a copy of a bontrager xxx bar. Or at least the graphics, perhaps the dimension are way off. Worth a shot if within yr budget?!
