That one is such an inspiration that I'm going to go for something very similar.

Love the polished titanium on the lower rear section, and those lines are just divine.

This is Saabs CIII and the rear triangle is just painted such that it looks like bare Ti. Indeed, it is a nice looking bike!

And here is a Arancio and Sapphire Blue in Sizzler Paint scheme that is on Saab's bike.

Like the others said, mine is steel, not Ti. But it looks a bit like Ti on the back.

The cutting tool was undoubtedly dulled somewhat by the headtube reduction. But the shop didn't mind because they said they almost never use it anymore. Most bikes come with integrated headsets or the good ones which don't don't need any facing work.

We cut about 1 cm off and it feels better. I still think my bike might be 1 cm large, but that is no big deal. For what I paid it is perfect.

FWIW, I like the red, white and gray sizzler scheem on that other Ti bike the best. That and Mr. Headwinds' blue Legend. Those are my personal faves.

I like mine a lot, but I like the other red, white and gray scheme even better.

Of all I've seen here...

this is the one that sticks in my head. When I think about a dream ride, this bike (in a much larger size, and with a different seat) springs to mind.

Thanks to everyone for all of the pics.

Yesterday I finally ordered a Serotta, Cycle Fit in London did the fitting, and we eventually decided that the perfect bike for my riding and budget is the Nove.

I've blogged the experience here: http://blog.buro9.com/2006/04/19/cyc...-serotta-nove/

But for this thread, the important bit is the paint job I chose

I finally went for a Sizzler GS with Sapphire Blue forks and front, Arancio for the little stripe behind that, and then naked titanium (brushed satin) and carbon for the remainder of the bike. Decals are largely white with black border.

These are club colours ( http://www.londondynamo.co.uk/ ), so I think it will work pretty well

When I get the bike, I'll of course repay all of the advice and patience I've seen on the forums by taking a lot of photos for the gallery Oh, and letting you know how it rides

Thanks again

I'll have to avoid the forum for 8 weeks now... otherwise I'm going to want to run back to Cycle Fit screaming "Pearl white Carbon and brushed satin Titanium!"... or a scheme of another beautiful Serotta that gets posted!

So I take it that you decided on your color choice? Are you going to share that with us or make us wait
