Traveling with disc brakes

What's the consensus on this one? Do you take your disc rotors off or leave it on when traveling / packing your bike?

I fly with my Hunter all the time. I ALWAYS take off the rotors before packing the bike. There are two reasons:

- The rotors get in the way of packing.

- The rotors could be damaged by those lovely baggage handlers.

It takes about 5 minutes to unscrew all 12 screws. I then put the screws back into the hubs and pack the rotors elsewhere. Never had a problem.

Rotors off. Super easy with centerlock.

Centerlock makes removing rotors trivial....

The consensus is clear: take your rotors off! Or don't!

But let's not let that stop us going to 12 or 16 pages.
