Park Place has a lot of cool cars.

A couple of weeks ago I saw an article online about Seattle real estate and how new money in Seattle is shown off more - old money was not flashy. (I have lived in Western Washington for over 45 years and my wife keeps a house in Bellevue).

A 28 year old Chinese female business woman said that when she came to Seattle about 6 (?) years ago and drove a Porsche it stood out. She said now we all drive Ferraris.

You don't want that, too much bling. Matchy-match with the wheels is a turnoff, but easy enough to fix, I suppose.

I was instructing at a Ferrari "driving school" at AAA Speedway when two guys died as their Carrera GT hit the wall. The carbon tub was left pretty intact but "the sudden stop" was fatal.

I have heard from many people that it is quite a machine. Hard to drive and very powerful. Probably not a great combination. 1270 of them were produced between 2003 and 2007. I wonder how many are left.

Oh, but the sound that it makes is truly amazing. Very distinct. Loud and ferocious.

There is a Top Gear segment where Jeremy Clarkson drives one. He found it impressive, even though he had a hard time driving it.
